Project Team

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of HIV/AIDS Policy, Health Resources and Services Administration, HIV/AIDS Bureau supported the development of this training which was produced in collaboration with a diverse group of adolescent HIV specialists, trainers, evaluators, and technologists, including the AETC National Resource Center and the Adolescent AIDS Program. Continuing education review and accreditation for physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other care providers was coordinated through the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), UMDNJ-Center for Continuing & Outreach Education. The Adolescent AIDS Program is the nation's first adolescent AIDS clinic and is a leader in the fields of clinical care, research, and health care provider training for youth with HIV.

The AETC National Resource Center (NRC) provides health care professionals with easy access to HIV/AIDS education and training resources and timely, high-quality, state-of-the-art clinical information. The NRC maintains an online library of training resources developed primarily by the AETC community.

University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)

The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Center for Continuing & Outreach Education (CCOE) offers education and training to healthcare and social service providers through live, print, and web programs. The CCOE Division of AIDS Education is a Local Performance Site of the NY/NJ AETC.
